I'm Claudia, the Wholehearted Psychologist.
This is the Wholehearted Way
It’s a quiet permission slip to stop holding it all together — and start tending to the parts of you that have gone unseen for far too long.
Inside, you’ll find:
A deeper understanding of Childhood Emotional Neglect — especially the kind that hides behind “good childhoods”
Insight into how emotionally immature parenting might still be impacting your relationships, boundaries, and self-worth
A lovingly curated list of healing resources to help you reconnect with your inner child and rebuild trust with yourself
This guide is a gentle beginning — not a fix, but a return. Back to your wholeness. Back to your truth. Back to you.
Inspired by the guideposts of Brené Brown’s The Gifts of Imperfection and built on the foundation of knowing, honouring, and celebrating yourself, The Wholehearted Way program is designed to help you reconnect with your authentic, wholehearted self.
Together, we’ll:
Examine the stories and conditioning that have shaped your life.
Create space for vulnerability, self-compassion, and growth.
Learn how to live in alignment with your truth — not the “shoulds” or expectations of others.
The Wholehearted Way isn’t just about self-discovery. It’s about healing the disconnection you feel — from yourself, from others, and from the things that bring you joy and aliveness.
This is a journey back to your true self. Back to a life that feels juicy, connected, and deeply aligned.
When you stop seeking outside, and understand you are the key to a life that is aligned to your values and nourishes you at the deepest level
… when you can allow yourself to be fully seen, heard and honoured for all you are
… everything changes.
The real healing comes from gently tending to what is under the surface, acknowledging needs that went unmet, understanding our stories and choosing new meaning for ourselves through anchoring into grace, self compassion and acceptance.
It is only from this deep, true tending that we can truly begin the journey of living the wholehearted way: one where we are connected to our own needs, values, voice, worth, boundaries and faith in something bigger than us guiding the way.
And once we are more connected to ourselves, more able to connect to others, and the natural beauty of the world around us.
like there’s something missing so you keep trying harder and harder to fix yourself, push more or break through to the other side
like people pleasing, workaholism or hero rescuer and you’re numbing with drink, food, shopping or socials in a desperate bid to avoid feeling antyghin under the surface.
You have no idea what you want in life, you just know “this isn’t it” and that’s driving a life that feels like going around in circles on autopilot thinking “how the heck did I get here”
even depressed or anxious, but traditional therapy feels like it’s scratching the surface but not getting anywhere .. and to be honest you’re starting to think that there is something very flawed + unfixable here
but you have an inkling there’s something more to the picture, but you’re scared to go there because the thought of betraying your family, or breaking free of your conditioning leaves you feeling scared and alone.
I’m a psychologist who believes the conservative, cold, clinical approach can keep us stuck in disconnection and self-abandonment, with our mental and emotional wellbeing pathologised and seen as something to be ‘fixed’, rather than something to be tended to and healed.
The Wholehearted Way is anchored in what I like to call psychology with soul. It’s the culmination of my professional expertise anchored in narrative psychology, my lived experience as a recovering good girl come rebel, and the lessons learned from living through deep, dark valleys of post-natal depression and suicidal ideation.
Here, we value living from our full and nourished selves, breaking the ties that bind us in limiting stories and conditioned behaviours that don’t speak to our own values and desires, and finally being free to live satisfying, empowered, deeply connected lives.
Here you will learn how to come on home.
So you can KNOW thyself, HONOUR thyself, celebrate THYSELF and surrender to the perfectly imperfect magnificence of all that you are.
Healing comes from looking inside and connecting with your true self.
